merlin 4com is a wireless USB/COM converter. Up to 4 serial interfaces can be controlled simultaneously via radio by the USB port. Therefore, the merlin 4com is a wireless solution as well as an interface multiplier. After the easy installation of the driver software on the PC, the maximum of 4 interfaces appear as standard COM ports.
The state-of-the-art DECT technology automatically encodes the information transmitted, the dynamic channel selection ensures a permanent availability in comparison to other radio systems.
The 4com transmits its data securely and without interference over great distances. |
